Farida and I (Wendy) have just returned from the PHIN Conference in Atlanta. We spoke with many public health people about the ways RFID could help in their organizations. Just like the rest of us, they need to track their valuable assets. They also, however, need to be able to monitor caches of vaccines to ensure they do not expire, and need methods for tracking various specimens in their laboratories. We found many exciting ways we could apply RFID for them.
